Fury vs Ngannou: Huge Heavyweight Crossover Clash

World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will finally return to the ring in a crossover clash against former UFC heavyweight ruler Francis Ngannou.

While boxing fans have been calling for Fury to collide with Oleksandr Usyk in their highly-awaited undisputed showdown and carry on the trend of blockbuster fights this year, ‘The Gypsy King’ is going in a different direction for now.

Fury vs Ngannou Fight Preview

Having been released from Dana White’s UFC roster in January, Ngannou’s future was shrouded in doubt.

But an eventual announcement to face Fury was met with widespread criticism, mainly from genuine boxing fans who crave the Usyk undisputed bout instead.

Francis Ngannou is being trained by heavyweight legend Mike Tyson.

Despite his previous devastating knockouts and dominant reign as heavyweight champion within the octagon, as well as being trained by heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, Ngannou has a mammoth task ahead of him in Saudi Arabia.

The eagerly anticipated undisputed match-up with Usyk is reportedly set to take place in December (or January), providing Fury comes through unscathed in Riyadh.

But there’s seemingly little chance of any fight-altering damage being sustained by the current heavyweight champion, as he looks to get the financially prosperous job done and put on a show before moving on to more serious career matters.
