Usyk vs Dubois 2: Repeat or Revenge Rematch for Undisputed Crown

Oleksandr Usyk will aim to become a two-time Undisputed Heavyweight Champion with a second victory over Daniel Dubois in their awaited rematch this weekend.

The reigning unified World Champion can reclaim his former belt to hold all the division’s marbles once again, with Dubois now in possession of his previously vacated title.

But ‘Dynamite’ is determined to avenge his 2023 defeat to Usyk in Poland and become the first British Undisputed Heavyweight Champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

Usyk vs Dubois 2 Fight Preview

Now 23-0 and already established as one of his era’s best fighters, Usyk will look to reaffirm his position as the greatest heavyweight of his generation with a second success against Dubois.

The Ukrainian has already dispatched both Joshua and Fury twice in his career and now has his focus locked on securing another British double over one more familiar foe.

Despite Usyk rallying to a ninth-round knockout victory when the pair last collided in August 2023, there was some controversy earlier in the clash, which continues to divide opinions.

Debates have raged on between teams and fans over the legitimacy of the ‘illegal’ shot to Usyk’s beltline, with an official appeal even being rejected from Dubois’ handlers.

Dubois' trainer, Don Charles, hit out at the unified champion, declaring that he deserved an Oscar for his performance in Poland.

"You conned the referee, you conned us, you conned the boxing world," he declared in the build-up to the rematch.

"It's just talking. For me, it doesn't matter. It's my road. Blah, blah, blah. I respect all my opponents."

All the talking comes to an end at Wembley, as Usyk attempts to underline his heavyweight legacy, while Dubois seeks his rematch redemption. LFG!
